Join the UA and Become Part of our Family

Are you an aspiring plumber, pipe fitter, sprinkler fitter, steam fitter, welder, heating and air conditioning (HVAC-R) technician? Do you have workplace experience in these areas, but have wondered what being part of a Union is all about?

Contact your local UA office and ask how you start your career with the UA. A list of all locals is on our website UACanada.ca.

  1. The United Association seeks to assist interested, qualified persons to obtain information and identify opportunities regarding training and employment in the union pipe trades industry. Profiles submitted through this system will be forwarded to appropriate United Association Locals and affiliated Training Programs to be considered by those organizations.
  2. Locals and Local Training Programs maintain their own, individual rules and polices regarding acceptance and exercise full control over all acceptance decisions.
  3. You will also have to submit a separate application in accordance with the requirements of the Local or Local Training Program to which you apply.
  4. You may also have to take a test and/or have an interview with the local organization. You are encouraged to make direct personal contact, using the contact information provided here to help determine the exact qualifications and materials neccessary to make a formal application.
